How ProofFlow works

From signup to real reviews on your website — here's the whole thing, step by step. Setup takes about five minutes, and after that ProofFlow runs itself.

Step 1

Start your trial

Create your account, then add your card at checkout to activate your 14-day free trial. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then from your billing page — no charge, no calls, no hassle.

Step 2

Connect Stripe

In your dashboard, go to Connect Stripe and click the button. That's it — from then on, ProofFlow sees each completed sale automatically.

ProofFlow only reads completed checkouts so it knows who to ask for a review. It never charges your customers and never touches your money.

Step 3

Reviews collect themselves

Seven days after each purchase — long enough that your customer has actually used what they bought — ProofFlow emails them one link. One click, a star rating, an optional comment, done.

You can edit the email's subject, message, and sender name under Review email in your dashboard. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and opt-outs are honored automatically.

Reviews collected this way are marked Verified buyer — they came from a real Stripe purchase, and your visitors see that.

Two ways to get reviews today

Your review link

Your dashboard shows a personal review link anyone can use — no purchase required. Email it to past customers, put it in your email signature, or send it the moment a project wraps.

Add reviews you already have

Got praise sitting in tweets, DMs, or old emails? In your Inbox, click Add a review you already have, paste the text, add the customer's name and the original date, and it's on your wall immediately.

Step 4

Approve what goes public

Every incoming review lands in your Inbox as pending — nothing is published without you. Tap Approve on the ones you love and they go live instantly. Hide the ones you don't want shown; you can change your mind anytime.

Step 5

Show your reviews off

Head to Widget in your dashboard. Pick your colors and layout once, then publish your reviews wherever it suits you:

  • Script embed (recommended) — one line of code. Reviews render inside your page and include the structured data Google looks for, making your page eligible for star ratings in search results.
  • Iframe embed — the simplest option. One isolated frame that can't conflict with your site's styles. Works everywhere: Webflow, WordPress, Framer, Shopify, plain HTML.
  • Hosted review page — no website needed. Your reviews live on a public ProofFlow page you can link from your bio, proposals, or invoices.
  • Share images — turn any approved review into a clean PNG from your inbox, sized for X and LinkedIn.

Billing

Plans, trials, and canceling

ProofFlow Pro is $14.99/month or $149/year (two months free). Your card is charged when the 14-day trial ends. Manage or cancel your subscription anytime from Billing in your dashboard — you keep access through the end of the period you paid for.

Common questions

My customers bought before I joined ProofFlow. Can I still get their reviews?

Yes — send them your review link, or paste reviews they've already given you straight into your inbox. The automated emails cover every sale from the moment you connect Stripe.

I embedded the widget but a new review isn't showing yet.

Make sure the review is approved in your inbox. The script embed caches for a few minutes, so give it a moment and refresh.

Will I really get stars in Google?

The script embed adds the exact markup Google asks for (Review + AggregateRating). Whether stars appear is always Google's call — eligibility isn't a guarantee — but without the markup you have no shot at all.
